HELP STUDENTS IN NEED: Provide resources to MHS Principal Edward Lombardi, to meet the needs of students whose economic circumstances may prevent them from maximizing their MHS experience.
AWARD ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS: In 2017, eleven (11) students received $1,000 each in MHSAA academic awards, bringing to $45,000 the total given out since the program was established in 2012.
SPONSOR A HOLIDAY PASTA SUPPER: Each November, the MHSAA sponsors a family friendly Pasta Supper at Anthony’s of Malden. The fun evening includes food, music, dancing, raffles and a visit from Santa.

THE MHS HALL OF FAME: Established to recognize graduates for outstanding achievements in their chosen fields with induction into the MHSAA Hall of Fame. A dinner is held in their honor.
THE NAME A SEAT PROGRAM: For $100 a name plate is added to a seat in the Jenkins Auditorium with the name of an MHS graduate and their year of graduation. A Name Plate can also be purchased for a relative, friend or even an event, you want to have memorialized. See below for more information

Each of the 904 seats in the renovated Thornton P. Jenkins Auditorium will have an attractive plate mounted on the chair. You are invited to Name a Seat by creating your own message for the nameplate.
You may want to honor or memorialize a friend or relative, celebrate a reunion, or feature your business. Naming a seat is a thoughtful gift for a birthday, holiday, or anniversary. Name a Seat for $100.
All profits from this fundraiser will go directly to help students at Malden High School.

MHSAA Gives Out - 11
The Malden High School Alumni Association in its ongoing desire to reward excellence has presented $1,000 academic awards to 11 more graduating seniors in the
Class of 2017.
This brings to $45,000 awarded to MHS students by the alumni group since the awards program was established in 2012.
Besides awarding scholarships, the MHSAA fund-raising has provided resources to help both former MHS Principal Dana Brown and to newly appointed MHS Principal Edward Lombardi, to meet the needs of students struggling economically.
The Malden High School Alumni Association’s third annual Holiday Pasta Party is all set for Saturday Nov. 25, featuring a new Grand Prize 50-50 raffle sure to ring some
lucky winner’s chimes.
The event is to raise funds to help MHS students in need.
The festivities will take place 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Anthony’s
function hall on Canal Street in Malden.
This party is open to all Malden – MHS graduates, students, family and children, friends and members of the community who support the alumni effort to help students who find themselves in difficult financial situations.
